RasGas is engaged in the business of production and sale of Liquified Natural Gas and related hydrocarbon products. At presents, the company operates a five – train onshore facility and one sales gas train at Ras Laffan, which is located 80 km north of the capital city Doha, in the State of Qatar.

Lead Contracts Engineer

To provide limited pre award and full range Post Award Contract Administration support all Contracts in Operations Department, including financial analysis, cost control and monitoring. Responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of processes, procedures to ensure that Contracts are in compliance with company policies and within contractual boundaries in a manner beneficial to RasGas. Develop measures and reporting system aligned with benchmarking to achieve pacesetter levels in area of Field. Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering discipline, quantity surveying or in relevant Business Science. Minimum 10 years varied experience in contract control and post award contract administration preferably in the oil and gas industry. Good written and oral communication skills in English. Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as team member. Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs. Good presentation and delivery skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Good experience in dealing with consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers, particularly pertaining to financial issues and budgets in oil and gas, petrochemical or LNG industries. Strong computer skills and experience with SAP & Microsoft Office. Experience with performance incentive contracting, and outsourcing will be an added advantage. Experience with GE CSA contracts will be an added advantage.

Contracts Engineer

To provide contracts engineering & administration support to operations group. Work as a focal point for administering operations short ad long term contracts or different model and strategy. To implement systems and procedures and produce documentation to allow the effective procurement of contracts in support of the operation of the Company s onshore & offshore facilities. MBA or Bachelor of Science in Engineering or relevant Business Science, quantity surveying, or Professional Associate Member of an internationally recognized institution of Cost engineers, or quantity surveying. Minimum 10 years contracts administration experience in the oil & gas industry. Must have in-depth knowledge of a wide range of administrative and operations services. Must have in-depth knowledge and experience of a comprehensive range of International Contracts and Procurement Strategies. Must have exposure to and experience in the application of Quality Management principles under ISO 9000 Series or equivalent British Standards. In-depth knowledge & experience on External / Internal Contracts Management System in SAP (CMMS). Good interpersonal skills and must have experience of working with and managing a multinational workforce, preferably within the Gulf region. Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Cost Engineer

To provide Cost Engineering Expertise and develop Cost Estimation system for Operations group. To conduct Cost analysis, cost control and monitoring of Operation OPEX and/or CAPEX Budgets. Responsible for developing various cost estimates levels for various capital projects. Responsible for providing asset unit cost analysis. Responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of processes, procedures and cost control measures to ensure that Business Decisions are in compliance with company policies and within budgetary boundaries in a manner beneficial to RasGas. Develop measures and reporting system aligned with bench marking to achieve pacesetter levels in area of Operations Management. He will act as RasGas “Subject Matter Expert” for Cost Engineering issues. Bachelor s degree in Engineering discipline, quantity surveying or relevant cost management degree. Minimum 8 years diversified experience in Costing, Scheduling and Cost Control preferably in Oil& Gas Industry. Good written and oral communication skills in English. Excellent analytical and presentation skills. Good experience in dealing with consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers, particularly pertaining to financial issues and budgets in oil and gas, petrochemical or LNG industries. Ability to use Microsoft Office and application such as Primavera, Artemis and MS Project. Experience working with SAP PM & PS Modules shall be considered as an advantage.

Cost Controller

To provide cost accounting, project cost & schedule analysis and budgetary support to the RasGas Surface Venture Group. Interface between Finance and the various Departments within the Venture Group for the coordination and consolidation of the Group s budget, financial reporting, invoice processing and other support activities. Liaison with share holders on manpower work requests and secondee invoice issues. Bachelor s degree in Accountancy or Engineering equivalent. Good written and oral communication skills in English. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as team member. Good presentation and delivery skills. Minimum 8 years experience in oil and gas industries in the area of operation, maintenance and projects. Minimum 5 years varied experience in cost control and budget administration, preferably in oil and gas industry. Knowledge of SAP an advantage. Information Seeking, Analytical thinking and concern for order and quality are pre-requisites. CPA certification or equivalent is requirement.

Planning Engineer

To provide Asset Planning and schedule support for asset and project work activities through close liaison with the Project Engineers, Unit Engineers, Maintenance, and Operations personnel. Responsible for providing support to asset and project teams in term of planning activities and activity calendars, management of asset opportunity lists, and schedule support for the various projects gates through detailed schedule developments, monitoring, and controls. Provide support to expansion activities, commissioning and start-ups of new facilitates. Responsible for maintaining overall production plan and planning activities that has impact on production. Provide ad-hoc planning support for lose of production type activates. Maintain the asset 10 year maintenance plan and coordinate shutdown and start-ups activities and handover process between assets and maintenance groups. Bachelor s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent. Requires minimum of 10 years planning and coordination experience / skills. Proficient in project schedule development, monitoring and control. Excellent skills in planning software applications e.g. Primavera Project Planner and Microsoft Project. Extensive work experience in CMMS applications and SAP. Exposure to development of Computerized Maintenance / Project Management Systems in the area of function inputs is an advantage. Exposure to Quality systems such as ISO 9002 and transactional environment of Asset Management software like AIM/EDMS. Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret technical presentations. Knowledge of Engineering codes, standards and practices is a necessity to evaluate planning requirements for engineering projects. Ability to understand specifications and contract documentation. Proven ability to work well both independently and within a team environment. Strong interpersonal / coordination skills and the ability to engage multifunctional groups. Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities and persistence to overcome obstacles. Very good written and spoken English.

Integrated Activity Planning Manager

The Integrated Activity Planning Manager within the Operations Business Department is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to establish and develop sound planning practices and to implement appropriate procedures that ensure work progress and changes in the operating and business environment are understood and utilized to improve and streamline activities within the whole of the Operations Group. Lead a team of section heads, act as focal point for all interfaces activities with other groups specially Venture, Subsurface, C&S, and Terminals. Responsible for the overall Asset Planning activities to assure quality and reliable plans and schedules are integrated and implemented to optimize production cycles and to minimize production interruptions. Responsible for commissioning / start-up schedule integrations and smooth transfer of new facilities into existing operations through sound integrated activity plans and handover processes. Provides engineering planning support and coordinate the process of compiling the annual capital budget. Provide planning and scheduling for projects under engineering and exertion phases and responsible for controls, monitoring, and reporting of projects activities. Implement and steward all business systems within operations to assure activities planning and execution are integrated under common platform mainly SAP and Primavera tools. Responsible for the overall implementation of SAP PS Module. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent. Certification in Planning and Project Management is an advantage. Minimum 15 years multi-discipline experience in the oil and gas industry with special emphasis on operational planning activities and budget control, and at least 10 years at the supervisory level in the various departments of Operations, Process, Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and Projects. Computer literate with a good knowledge of business software applications and SAP systems. Good written and oral communication skills in English. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as Team Leader and mentor. Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.

Head of Training and Competency Support

Develops and implements training packages and competency assurance programs at the Vocational Training Centre while developing plans to meet the Simulator and technical training requirements of all Operations direct hire and seconded employees. Develops and implements new competence verification programs and assesses the effectiveness of approved programs to ensure they fully meet the needs and job requirements of the company. Handles all responsibilities for the Simulator training and equipment, VTC new trainee programs and liaises with the English Instructors to complete assessments and provide training. Bachelors, Engineering degree or equivalent from a recognized University or College. 15 years experience in an Operational and Training environment specializing in the area of employee training, simulators and development and competence assurance. Experience in developing and implementing national development program is essential. Strong managerial and supervisory skills. Strong delegative and mentorship skills, not afraid to challenge the team. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
