Rotating Equipment Specialist

The incumbent leads and supervises a team of Rotating Equipment Engineering Specialists and Engineers to provide Rotating Equipment technical support to the RasGas Operations Expansion team.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognised educational

institution. Machinery Start-up and Commissioning experience is essential. Strong Analytical skills. Business Communication skills (reports, presentations, etc.). Established global network for contacts in the Rotating Equipment discipline. Specialization in at least five (5) areas of Rotating Equipment discipline; examples of which are: turbines, vibration analysis, dry gas seals, codes and standards, performance, compressors, root cause analysis, manufacturing, field installation, costing, etc. Team Player and coach. At least fifteen (15) years working experience with Rotating Equipment related to the oil and gas industry, especially in the area of Operations and Maintenance; at least 10 of which are at supervisory level. Extensive experience and exposure to “hands-on” work on the inspection, disassembly and re-assembly of rotating equipment. This includes balancing, alignment and borescope inspections. Extensive experience and exposure to root cause analysis and troubleshooting of rotating equipment with state of the art diagnostic techniques and instrumentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mechanical Integrity Specialist

Provide Oil & gas industry experience in the fields of Facilities Integrity, inspection, integrity assurance, and certification, including Risk Based Integrity management with Extensive exposure to Mechanical Equipment Integrity, facilities and material.

Senior Planning Analyst - Corporate Planning Department

This role is responsible for the provision of processes and tools to support the strategic and business planning processes in RasGas. The role also contributes key economic and other related analysis and insights to support strategic decision making.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Appropriate degree from a recognized university in Engineering with graduate studies in Economics or Finance or other relevant discipline. MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree is highly desirable. 7-10 years experience in an oil and gas industry in project development, operations, planning or commercial. Demonstrated work experience in planning or scheduling, modeling in Oil & Gas, Chemicals or other relevant industry, understanding of economical and financial assessment techniques are a must to have. Previous work experience in several sections of the value chain, engineering, sub-surface, process, operations and commercial will be definitely an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to perform in multi-cultural environment. Knowledge and skills to link operational activities to the financial impacts, risk assessment and trends in future performance. Broad knowledge of the complexity of Oil & Gas business and the wider energy market is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across functions. Demonstrated high conceptual skills and performing complex analysis is a must. High level of competence with economic modeling and scenario-planning tools and methodologies. Strong writing and effective communications skills in English. Very good computer skills with excellent knowledge of all MS Office applications.

Senior Analyst Continuous Improvement & Change Management - Corporate Planning Department

The role is responsible for facilitating the continuous improvement (CI) and change management (CM) processes and activities within RG.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Appropriate degree from a recognized university in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other technical or administration discipline. Post-Graduate degree in related discipline is definitely and asset. Minimum of 8 years experience in a large multi functional multi national organization, with experience in CI and the management of change essential. Previous work experience in performance measures development and monitoring, and work process review and improvement is essential. Very good computer skills highly desirable. Broad knowledge of Oil & Gas business desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well developed facilitation and training skills, in English. Ability to perform in a multi-cultural environment. Well developed in the fields of CI and CM and regularly upgraded skills and knowledge. Previous successful assignment in implementing CI and CM management theories, structures and processes. Work with a variety of individuals and interest groups to gain consensus in a multicultural environment. Works with a variety of tools and models covering a wide range of activities and open ended problems. Also requires strong interpersonal skills, initiative, high negotiating and analytical skills and ability to compromise.

Senior Analyst - Marketing Business Support Department

This is a senior role within the business support department which will provide robust and sound economic and market analysis and advice in support of the LNG marketing teams. This role will identify, model and highlight any economic risks that relate to commercial marketing opportunities and contract development. The provision of sound market analysis and development of market intelligence will support the identification of potential growth markets for LNG.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
The right candidate will possess a BSc degree in Engineering or Business Administration, and a Master of Business Administration will be considered and advantage with a minimum of 10 years professional experience in the oil and gas marketing or energy finance or consultancy business. Excellent analytical and economic modeling skills are essential prerequisites for the right candidate to possess combined with a sound and broad understanding of the LNG and downstream gas markets and the principles and concepts of LNG marketing.
